What this is

A hand-checked guide to local eating. As of today it covers 0 cities and 0 venues. The list of cities on the home page is open to everyone; each city’s full guide, and the AI guide, open after an invited sign-in.

It is not a review platform, and it is not a booking or delivery service. There are no ad slots on this site and no way to pay to be listed: whether a restaurant makes the list is decided by what the checking turns up.

Who runs it

The site is operated by Local Eats, a very small independent project. It is not affiliated with any restaurant, platform or organization.

There is only one address for reaching us: hello@localeatsclub.com. We will not approach you through any other channel, and we will never ask you for any of your credentials by phone or text message.

Why we do it

We read recent reviews, local conversations, and public records, then give you the useful part: where to go, what to order, and what to know before you head out.

Where the information comes from

We read past the star rating

We look for what diners consistently love—and the complaints that keep coming back.

We check the whole experience

Food comes first, but service, price, consistency, and health records matter too.

We say when we're not sure

Details change and opinions split. If we can't confirm something, we'll say so instead of guessing.

The same principles are printed on the home page — this and that say the same thing, and both are generated from the same text.

Which places are covered, and when each was last checked

Restaurants change their menus, move and close. The dates on this page are when we last checked, not a promise that things are still that way today — before making a special trip, please confirm the current details with the restaurant.

What signing in is for

The home page is free to browse. The full guides open after an invited sign-in because this round is still a beta: there is no self-service registration, and we confirm eligibility by email only. We do not automatically add your conversations to the restaurant database.
